Kyiv Mohyla Business School Students

Executive graduates of the Kyiv Mohyla Business School (KMBS) successfully completed a two-week multi-cultural and foreign exchange American practicum at a final symposium conducted on the Northwestern University campuses at the Kellogg School of Management in Evanston and Chicago, between July 23 and August 8, 2004


New Board Members

The Board of Directors of the Kyiv Mohyla Foundation is pleased to announce that Dr. Anders Åslund and Dr. Daniel Hryhorchuk have been elected to serve as directors. Both Dr. Åslund and Dr. Hryhorchuk have extensive knowledge and experience in Ukraine and the international academic environment.


NaUKMA Opens New School of Public Health

University of Illinois and Kyiv Mohyla Academy Partnership in Public Health

Ihor Wyslotsky is the President of the Kyiv Mohyla Foundation of America which is based in the United States of America . There are several similar non-government organizations in the countries with large Ukrainian communities (according to reliable estimates, there are about 50 million people of Ukrainian descent dispersed all around the world, not counting Ukrainians living in Ukraine), and all of them make their worthy contribution to the preservation and development of Ukrainian culture, thus contributing to making Ukraine, its culture and its economic and tourist potential, better known world over. Kyivo-Mohylyanska Academy -The Custodian Of Our Spirituality

On October 16 of far away 1615 year well known Kyiv noblewoman Galshka Gulevichivna had gifted her land lot and property in Podol district of Kyiv city "to trustful and pious Christians of Ukrainian nation" for needs of teaching monastery, hospital, and first of all — for school for children, «irrespective of their status and birth». That was a start point of Kyivo-Mohylyanska Academy. In the same day well known Ukrainian enlighteners Ivan Boretsky, elected as first rector of the school, and Father-Superior of Pechersk monastery, old fellow-brother Isaya Copynsky solemnly entered the children into new-created Bratska School (Brotherhood School)

UNA Launches a New Charitable Insurance Program to Benefit Kyiv Mohyla Academy

A new life insurance program was announced at a ceremony attended by UNA president Stefan Kacharaj, Kyiv Mohyla Academy president Dr. Viacheslav Briukhovetsky and Kyiv Mohyla Foundation president Ihor Wyslotsky. At a gathering of the Kyiv Mohyla Academy’s major supporters and community leaders, which took place at the Ukrainian Institute of America on November 5, the executives of the three organizations inaugurated a program that provides the opportunity to purchase a life insurance policy, name the Kyiv Mohyla Foundation as the beneficiary for the benefit of the Kyiv Mohyla Academy, and deduct the full amount of premium payment from income taxes. This legacy for Ukraine’s oldest university is an investment in Ukraine that will pay significant dividends, through educational programs at Ukraine’s top university.
