Marta Sterniuk supported and promoted Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in the Ukrainian community of Argentina since the university’s rebirth in 1991. As a business owner and executive of an import-export firm in Buenos Aires, she was one of the leaders of the community that had emigrated from Ukraine. She left a legacy of support and activity that promoted Ukraine in Latin America, including her involvement in the major annual International Book Fair of Buenos Aires, and in meetings with members of Argentina’s cultural elite and government officials.
