Kyiv-Mohyla Academy’s alumnus “Archi” (a callsign) who became a paratrooper.
“Archi” graduated History program at NaUKMA and was studying in the Master's Program when the Revolution of Dignity happened in 2014.“We went to rallies on the European Square and the Independence Square with our teachers. Then, in March 2014, Russia occupied Crimea and for me, it was no longer possible to study the ancient Greek colonies of Crimea”, recalls he in one of his interviews. He studied history at our university, then, he became the one who creates our Ukrainian history. Since 2014 he has come a long way: training with NATO, fighting near Donetsk airport in 2017, traveling in the Middle East and the Indian Ocean during serving in the coast guard, getting some wounds during fighting in Kyiv region during the first months of the full-scale invasion in 2022, recovering. We are inspired by his bravery and wish him to stay strong and healthy!
